Valentine's Day Cookies

I absolutely love Valentines day! What a wonderful holiday to share love and kindness with those around you.

One of my favorite things to do during valentines day is make cookies, and deliver them to my friends.

I had a bunch of extra boxes of chocolates, and decided to pair them with my favorite short bread recipe. The result was cookie perfection! I was even able to get my youngest daughter to help me decorate the cookies.

Hope this 'inspiration' post helps give you a fun idea for this Valentines day.

Here is the link to the recipe I used to make my favorite Scottish shortbread. What's awesome is that this recipe only uses THREE ingredients.

Here are the chocolates we used. They are called Frangos. They are my favorite chocolates from Seattle and I order them all the time.

I melted down the chocolates...

and covered one half with the melted chocolate Frangos.

Next we added some sprinkles.

VOILA! The cookies are done! Enjoy and Happy Valentines Day!
