I love DIY home improvement! Often times, I know the project I want to do but am unsure where to begin. Let me introduce you to the coolest hardware store around, Orchard Supply Hardware!
Orchard Supply Hardware was founded in California in 1931, and has since grown into a major retail hardware company. They were named retailer of the year in 2015 and are famous for impeccable customer service.
here are 80 stores located throughout California, Oregon, and lucky for me FLORIDA!
I was lucky to have access to the sneak peek night and to the grand opening (that's why I'm in two different outfits LOL) of the Dr.Phillips Bay Hill Location in Orlando FL.

The Work Bench
When you first walk into Orchard Supply, you will notice on the right, a station called the 'work bench.' If you need help starting your small-scale DIY home project, or simply are in a hurry. The experts at the work bench will help direct you where you need to go and they also provide a bunch of amazing services. They will custom cut glass, Plexiglas, wire, chain, and even your pipes. They can copy your keys help you with their rescreening services, and sharpen your blades all while you shop. How cool is that?!
Hardware and Power Tools
One of my many favorite things about this small-scale DIY home project store are all the unique hardware stations. There is a power tool bench for you to test/learn how to use the power tool of your choice.
Each Section of the store has an expect ready to help you out! They make sure you don't forget anything for your project.
Outdoor/Patio Furniture
I love the high quality outdoor furniture at Orchard. All their furniture is exclusively designed for Orchard Supply Hardware. You can even customize your pillows and cushions! Get started here.
Free Classes and Crafts
Orchard Supply is all about educating the community. Check out your local store for Hardware clinics and DIY Project seminars - all free!! They also have on some days crafts for kids -which is awesome when you want to spend a lot of time in a hardware store ;)
Nursery
Want to save time when buying a plant, or you simply don't want to get your hands dirty?
One of my favorite finds at OSH was the Potting bench!!! All you have to do is, pick a plant and a pot, then the nursery experts do the rest.
No need to buy a huge bag of soil, ( that will most likely get pushed to the back of your garage and be forgotten,) the nursery experts even pair your plant with the proper soil.
All Orchard plants have a lifetime guarantee! So if your little addition does not thrive in your garden, they will give you a plant that does.

Orchard is all about customer service! Around every corner you will find a friendly knowledgeable expert. If for some reason they don't know something they will connect you with someone who does. Absolutely LOVE the outstanding service.
