Fall in Florida is a little different from most places. For one, it is still ridiculously hot, and still feels like summer. It can be a challenge when wanting to dress in all the newest fall trends, when they consist of sweaters, coats, and boots.

Since I love all the beautiful fall trends, but don't want the layers, I look to what colors, and styles are trending and make "cooler' versions of them.

In the look above, I have a simple burgundy dress paired with a light weight scarf ( the scarf is lightweight and for the 'look' and does not add any warmth).

Burgundy and Pink are showing up a lot this fall season. It's romantic and yet strong and the same time. I added my beautiful leather J crew purse and Lucky Brand booties to give my look a bit of a earthy feel.
