Hair By Bre

Known for her passion, creativity, and all around zest for life, Bre Kirkland has been in the hair industry for 18 years. Bre trained under a Redkin performing artist for 4 years, and while she is not a fan of "competing in hair", she did make it to round 3 of auditions in the Bravo Reality show, Shear Genius.

After working at many high end salons in the Orlando area for years, Bre Kirkland opened her very own salon, Hair By Bre, in the fall of 2014.

I have been friends with Bre for 13 years, and in that time we have had many hair adventures together. From long to short, brown to blond, Bre was there.

While getting my roots touched up, I decided to have a little informal interview with Bre so y'all get to know her better.

Q: What is your Favorite color?

Bre: I loved pink when I was a Kid...but my current favorite color is anything Blush pink.

Q: Favorite Candy?

Bre: First of all...I am a candyholic! LOL. I love Jolly Rancher Bites! I always have candy around.

Q: What do you think the biggest hair trends will be this spring/summer 2016?

Bre: For color Sombre, Balayage, and for cuts a cute textured Lob.

Q: Favorite place in eat in Orlando Fl?

Bre: Right now I am loving Ocoee Taco Company! Their guac is the best! I also love a good steak from Flemings.

Q: Disney or Universal?

Bre: Disney!

Q: Favorite place to go shopping in Orlando, FL?

Bre: Bloomingdales at Mall at Millenia

Q: What made you get into Hair?

Bre: I had a roommate in college that was going to Beauty School, and she had no home work. It looked amazing! I am an artist, and doing hair looked like a great creative outlet that would make a great career and have a better earning potential then working at a Mc.Donald's drive thru window. No offense to anyone that works there.

Q: Morning person or Night owl?

Bre: NIGHT OWL!!! I am a mean morning person. LOL!

Q: If you where not doing hair...what would you be doing?

Bre: I would be auditioning for Broadway....that is if I did not have kids.

Q: How many kids do you have?

Bre: I have three girls and a boy.

Q: Best Hair Product?

Bre: I love Oribe for Brilliance and Shine Shampoo. Worth every penny.

Q:What life advise would you give your 21 year old self?

Bre: Live every day like its your last.
