Slow Down Love...

As I rush through my day, getting things done, I often forget to just stop and look at the wisdom that is all around me.

As I was watering my plants this morning, rushing like normal, I was startled by something I was not expecting to see in my new hydrangea plant.

At first glance, this plant that is so busy with tiny flowers, can appear to be a mess. However, among the soft green and magenta petals was a Hydrangea bloom in the shape of a heart.

This discovery made me stop and ponder about how many other hidden messages I have been missing by rushing from task to task. Have these signs been here all the time? Have there been people I have overlooked needing my attention and love? Have I overlooked myself?

As I was thinking about these questions today, I happened to stumble upon this quote on Pinterest. Since I love to paint and I love a good quote, I decided to paint it rather than just type it. I hope that you take the time to look for the hidden messages in your life and remember what matters most.
